U hotelu Palm Royale Soma Bay byly nejlepší kurty, jaké kdy jsem v Egyptě viděl, celkem 4 kurty, z toho 3 tréninkové a 1 centr kurt, povrch supreme US Open. Většinou jsou v Egyptě betonové kurty nevalné kvality, např. s vydroleným betonem a nebo dokonce i antukové kurty, na nichž se tenis nedá hrát, protože se o ně nikdo nestará, antuka je vyfoukaná, vlastně se jedná o oraniště, nicméně hotel hrdě deklaruje, že hotel Brayka Bay Resort disponuje dvěma tenisovými kurty.
